What is Clementines?

Clementine’s restaurant and bar, a Southern Louisiana themed restaurant with the look and feel reminiscent of old style New Orleans French Quarter.The décor is a colorful and reminiscent of New Orleans. Clementine’s will be a fun restaurant that will serve the needs of the community. Clementine’s is a three meal operation. The menu has a variety of unique made from scratch Southern Louisiana dishes and traditional popular American comfort food items. The Kearney’s know breakfast and Clementine’s offers a great breakfast…some breakfast foods are served all day.  The bar serves full liquor and beer and wine. Live Jazz will be provided for Sunday Brunch and on the weekends. Clementine's offers a fun and fast breakfast to a casual dinner. The restaurant will be able to transition from a quick paced breakfast lunch operation, to a full meal dinner operation with a full bar.  Meet the owners

Pete Kearney has nearly 40 years of successful restaurant experience in the Tri Valley and is a resident of Alamo. He is a hands on operator who knows every facet of the business from the ground up. It is not uncommon to see Pete cooking in one of his restaurants. His wife Kathe has assisted Pete in the front of the house management of his restaurants going back 30 years to their days of owning and operating Perko’s restaurants. In fact, it was the conversion of Perko’s Danville to a Country Waffles in 1991 that led to the creation of the Country Waffles chain. In just over a one week period doing most of the work themselves, Pete and Kathe converted Perko’s to a Country Waffles which has become a great success. Through their company, Kearney CW Enterprises, Inc. Pete and Kathe now own and operate seven Country Waffle franchise restaurants in Northern California and Country Waffles has grown to become a chain of almost 40 restaurants. Pete has been the sub-franchisor in Northern California for Country Waffles and has been involved with the development of their training manuals and operating procedures manuals and has assisted other franchisees in Northern California to locate, train, and open new Country Waffle restaurants. Joining Pete and Kathe in the management of Clementine’s will be their son and daughter, who have literally grown up in the restaurant business. Pete and Kathe have a great reputation and following in the Tri Valley. There is nothing better than a “hands on” family owned and operated restaurant.
